Great hotel

Check in was a bit stressful, because itnwas written they accept check in only until 22:30 and we were expecting to arrive at 0:00h. It was also problematic that they were not answering the phone when calling... But when finally they did pick up the phone, they confirmed they will wait for us. And once there it was 5 stars service - helped to get the luggage to the room and the room was very clean and comfortable. So all in all we were happy but do recommend the management to switch to a 24/7 reception - this is at the end a 5 stars hotel.

The room i reservered was not the room i was given. When brought to staffs attention they were unwilling to correct.

Building itself was fine, rooms we clean and comfortable and reception staff was doing a good job. But all restaurants in overall were really really bad. 1/10. quality of the food, speed of the service and sometimes lack of the basics service skills was not even close to what you would expect from Wyndham. As a just one example, bolognese sauce was made mainly of cartilage, instead of meat. Unfortunately there is not any other place for dinner in walking distance.

Overall is great

Overall very nice hotel. Definitely a place I would reconsider staying again. Only downside is that there isn’t much located within walking distance.

Had a great stay. Room was wonderful and staff was great.

Being very well situated at Bangsar, I was able to commute to my meetings with ease. The hotel is clean and staff are helpful and friendly.

Older building buy the looks of it. Not a bad stay but for a 5 star hotel by Wyndham I expect much better.

I was drugged at meals at the hotel. Noxious smells were piped into both different rooms I stayed in. I left the hotel 1 day earlier than expected as a result.

Worst “Birthday stay” experience!

The check-in date was my birthday and I noted in my reservation comments that it was a "birthday stay", but never once during check-in or during my stay did the staff mention my birthday. This was far below what I would have expected from a 5 star hotel with such poor staff service. Also, even though I clearly confirmed to the front desk staff upon check-in that I was staying "two nights," at the end of the first night stay, the staff opened the room door and rudely asked me "When will you check out?”. I informed the staff that I had told at the reception when checking-in that I would be staying two nights. Then the male staff left without saying any single apologies for opening the door without my permission or for not properly managing my reservation info. This hotel may be a 5 star "building" but the level of service from the front line staff is not up to that standard at all.

Bad Location, Average Service & Very Deceiving!

Very disappointing to say the least. The only positive about this hotel is the room size. The rest of the hotel is well below average. Very stale and unwelcoming! Compared to other 5 star hotels we've been to in KL, this hotel feels like they are working on a very stringent budget due to lack of staffs looking after the guests, limited options for breakfast and very stingy with the amenities ie shampoos, conditioners, shower gel etc. Location of the hotel is away from any shops or convenience stores and restaurants which made it very inconvenience for us guests. Thank goodness for the Food Panda Delivery! Although it was stated in their website that they offer a free shuttle service 2x daily to Mid Valley Megamall, but upon check in when we inquired, we were told that service is no longer provided, however they have failed to update us upon booking. This is very deceiving. We will definitely not stay here again!

Overall stay is acceptable but could be improve

The experience with the front desk wasn’t as pleasant. Lack of that welcoming vibe. Thank you to the concierge team for trying to open the door for us each time. Overall room is okay.

The hotel itself isn’t bad, but it’s location is not at all close to the main area of Bangsar Village.

Upon reaching the lobby, a staff quickly approached us and assisted us with our bags. Check-in was smooth, the lift leading up to our room was also fast; we did not have to walk far or wait long or change lifts to get to our room. We received our bags in less than 5 mins on arrival to our room. Room was clean however housekeeping wasn't up to standard. Only the first time that housekeeping was done, the room was in excellent condition. On our 3rd and 2nd last day, the housekeeper did not help to throw our rubbish (we bagged the rubbish properly in a corner near the door). Despite not needing a top-up of the coffee/tea/sugar/creamer, housekeeper kept providing us with so much of that. And our coffee/water area was so messy with a huge pile of so many drink sachets that we did not need. Housekeeping NEEDS IMPROVEMENT because the standard was unfortunately really poor. It's like they were reluctant to clean the room for us. Check out was also a smooth process. Free parking was also provided. Reception counters and lobby staff were very courteous and polite. Overall not that bad, aside from the housekeeping.

Alright hotel

I've stayed here before but first time driving here. Tricky roads to get to. Rooms have not been updated for sometime now. Accor should look into it.

Everything was great. The staff were all friendly and it's very easy to deal with them.

Good Clean

Pullman provides 5 star quality service for their customers and we got a free upgrade when we checked in. It was a good first impression. Will definitely be my go to hotel when I’m in KL

Close to sky train. Clean; polite staff and good assist.

Bed was comfy Staff was polite and allowed me to order food from the restaurant direct to my room, ensuring it was hot when it arrived.

Rooms are nice and clean and breakfast was a good variety. Everything shut early and it was a disappointment.

This hotel offers outstanding service. I would certainly stay here again. Staff is overwhelmingly accommodating , kind and friendly. 5 stars

Breakfast, room, staff service, room dining options were good. Not many amenities that are walking distance from the hotel. Taxi must be taken for a 10-15mins drive to a shopping centre like Mid Valley or NU Sentral. Overall, i am satisfied with my stay at Pullman Bangsar. And will definitely return, if required.

Upset welcome

Un friendly reception

I am glad I picked Pullman for my short stay during my very recent visit to Malaysia. Eventhough it is about an hours drive from the Airport, once you get to the hotel everything else is walking distance. Kerinchi train station is 5 minutes away. Trains are the easiest access and cost wise cheaper to get through to any place. I had the opportunity to enjoy great breakfast at Pullman and the staff very friendly and kind. Please do visit the Spa Lounge a great way to relax. I loved the spa and the lovely people at the spa, a must do if you stay here! I would be revisiting Pullman.

Need to consider the breakfast provided in the morning it is returned every day the same as usual

Nice hotel with a few faulty equipments

Very nice hotel and I was glad that got a complimentary upgrade but the equipment in the room was a bit on the down side. The safe wasn’t working, the bedside lamp switch was broken and the coffee machine wasn’t working well. But overall is still a good place to stay

Very recommended for business trip

Its a great place perfect for business trip and the staff very helpful. I lost my purse at D1 and found it back safely. Good experience staying in Pullman Bangsar and definitely will return again to this hotel.

I like the room but breakfast spread can be improved by replenishing the food on time.

Great 5 star hotel which is near to KL central....

An exceptionally nice hotel with excellent facilities. Reception area is nice and large, an incredible number of choices for breakfast and decently sized well presented rooms.

Excellent & thoughtful staff. The guest room is clean & very comfortable. It’s a bit out of airy centre but good location for my conference venue!

Bath tub water is very dirty. Run down building. Carpark ramp is too steep, room no soundproofing

Clean hotel, friendly staff. Bar restaurant atmosphere very good.European Chinese and japanese breakfast good. Fruits good. Asian breakfast items not up to standard. Curries very hot. Not much choices for indian vegetarians as they have put fish, in the curries and seeni sambols. No need to to put fish in everthing as it restricts the choice for vegetarians, so we could not eat them. Roti good Egg counter good for fried and poached eggs omlette etc.. Dosai string hoppers etc not up to standard no sambol or chutney and sambar not up to standard. But other food items good. Restaurant is clean and very friendly and helpful staff. Will stay there again.

Again problems with booking a family room. We booked a room for 3 people but they gave us two beds. Blaming the booking site. Extra payment for a 3rd bed was not negotiable. Rest was good: nice room, good location

Stayed at Pullman In golden triangle on my previous visit was excellent this property was not - staff unfriendly at check in, food breakfast awful, room service meal awful, carpet stained, room dusty in this property bathroom not cleaned well, big difference in standards and service which was a pity

in room amenities are old and require replacement. Paid for room upgrade, however the room condition was not excellence, seems like no one check the room before the room key is issued.

No signboard to guide us to the premise. GPS also doesn’t show exactly where to enter to hotel. However hotel staffs are approachable and nice ambience. Food was good too.

Extremely friendly n helpful reception n conceige staff . Only disappointment was the lunch buffet. Stop replenishing desserts at 1pm even though buffet is supposed to end only at 2.30pm. By the time I finished my main course at 1.30pm, there was no more desserts such as the nonya cakes n etc.

Clean and spacious room. Kettle was not working but quickly replaced with new one. Overall stay was excellent. Great hotel.

Bad maintainance on hotel room

when i arrived the hotel room and want to get shower time i noticed the water hose connector was spoiled. I need to called up the reception twice only the technician came up and repair. The glass table at the sink was full with water stained and dust. The bathtub drain stopper was spoil and again i need to called up the reception twice and what they informed me was need one and half hour to repair. The pillows and the bedsheet of the room are smelly, it seem like housekeeping didnt change from previous customer or the linen didnt wash properly.The alarm clock near the bed are also filled with dust. I hope the hotel management will look into all this and improve about it. Temporary I will not recommend my friends and family to stay in this hotel as I do not want them encounter what i had experience.I really feel very dissapointed on this hotel.

Nice Hotel

Overall it is nice experience. We stayed for 2 days however with respect to location it is situated little bit far from tourist places as well as if you are a vegan like us there is hardly any option of food will be available to us.

Great hotel that is ideally located in the city

Great hotel to stay at as it is ideally located near Mid valley mall. Room is good and comfy. The only shortcomings during my stay were about the shuttle service and housekeeping personnel. Shuttle service: Hotel provided free shuttle service to mid valley mall which is great! However, driver was picking up call while driving which may be inappropriate due to safety reason. Housekeeping personnel: Supposed to check out at 12 noon, a housekeeping personnel was ringing my doorbell at 10am telling me to go home as he received an order from the hotel officer which serve to remind me to check out. As the housekeeping personnel was unable to converse in good english, I felt a little offended when he said the sentence of asking me to go home. Hopefully Pullman could just give a call to guest staying in the hotel to remind guest of checking out in the future instead of asking a housekeeping personnel to ring the doorbell at 10am. Overall, the hotel is still good to stay for!

All the staffs are very friendly and helpful and that really impressed us. I hope they can keep up the good work. We are satisfied with everything except for the toilet which have a bad water flowing system as it always flood. All in all, we had a good time staying here.

Amazing place, would love to stay again

The Hotel is amazing. I booked it for one night during my business trip to KL. It's one of the best hotel I stayed in KL. Value to money and it is very close to my client place hence convenient for me to stay here. We also visited Spa located at level 4, I would highly recommend to try it out if you get chance to stay here. Overall very impressed. Thanks Pullman KL, for wonderful hospitality !!!
